Monster Hunter World’s Latest Event Quest Adds A Really Weird Helmet

On top of the second Horizon Zero Dawn event that’s now underway on PS4, a new limited-time quest is set to begin very soon in Monster Hunter World. Capcom is kicking off the Wiggle Me This Event Quest on both PS4 and Xbox One later today, March 1, and it gives players a chance to create a rather…distinctive headpiece.

The Wiggle Me This event runs until March 8. It’s a six-star quest set in the Coral Highlands, and it requires a Hunter rank of 11 or higher to accept. Rather than having to slay a specific monster, the object of this mission is to deliver 10 Wigglers, the slender, worm-like creatures you can find protruding from the ground in the Highlands.

Capcom hasn’t detailed what materials you’ll be rewarded with for completing the quest, but the publisher did show off the helmet that they’re used to forge, and it fittingly resembles a Wiggler, complete with an elongated neck and button eyes. You can take a look at the Wiggler helmet below.

Players who picked up Monster Hunter World on PS4 can now take part in the second Horizon-inspired Event Quest, The Proving. That mission follows Lesson of the Wild, which ended on February 8 and rewarded players with materials to create a set of Watcher Palico armor. The Proving will be available until March 15; the reward for completing it is materials to create Horizon protagonist Aloy’s armor and bow. You can see exactly how to unlock the Aloy armor and bow in our guide.

Capcom has posted the full schedule of Monster Hunter World’s Event Quests on the game’s official website. In addition to those, players will soon be able to take part in a Street Fighter V crossover event and create Ryu and Sakura costumes. The former was briefly available early for PS4 players who have Street Fighter V save data on their consoles.
